[FOLK ART]. Hand Carved and Painted Beehive. [20th century]. Painted (red) wooden beehive on a butterfly-shaped platform glued to two painted wooden crossbars. Approximately 9 ? x 9 ? x 7 ??. Some wear, soiling, some mild cracking to paint. Very good. This conversation piece may be Masonic in origin (the beehive symbolizes industriousness to the Freemasons).
