[FOLK ART PAINTING] (American, 20th century). A Group of Six WWII Narrative Battle Scenes. ca. 1980s. Oil on canvas board. Signed Gilbert W. Schuett and titled verso. 16 x 20? each. Frame (glass): 17 ? x 21?. These six paintings commemorate various scenes of moments from WWII. Schuett enlisted in 1941. These works have a classic folk art painting style with a flat perspective and a solid attention to detail. Excellent condition.
