[FOLK ART QUILT]. Crazy Forget Me Not Family Quilt / Pieced Comforter with Embroidery Stitches and Ties. ca. 1900s. Possibly earlier. Artist unknown. 85 x 72?. A variety of cottons and wools. Seminal elements of a family?s history stitched into this eccentric quilt. Pictorial elements and phrases in stitching. The back features a plain and minimalist stripe pattern. Unusual textures and flaws in execution inherent. Fading, fabric loss and tears, and staining overall. Still an exceptional piece. Good condition.
