ILLUSTRATED with 178 plates, inserted with additional title?pages and list of illustrations in manuscript prepared by Foster (dated 1920). Contemporary half sheepskin with single gilt fillets, 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, 3 with gilt tooled centerpieces of the Lion of England, remainder lettered in gilt, top edge gilt. Provenance: William Edward Hollis (bookplate). A unique copy extra?illustrated with 18th to 20th century engravings of the royal family.
