Four different sets of Pattachitra hand-painted lacquered playing cards for the Indian game Ganjifa, with the earliest dating to the 19th century. House in sliding-lid wooden boxes. Three sets have round cards, one is rectangular. Largest box 4 ? x 3 x 6?. Conditions vary. Boxes with chipping and surface wear. Images on cards present very well.
