French Firefighters Helmet / Casques de Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris. Paris, ca. 1855/1872. Entirely brass, cress embossed firefighter's helmet with leather chin strap and lining. Stamped 3362 at the back visor. Height approx. 10". Signs of wear and use including multiple dents, areas of oxidation. Leather chin strap missing small leather section to connect each side. Good.
