Dawes bookplate. With (presumably) original clear vinyl folder. Offsetting of text to page versos and folder (not affecting readability), else very good. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED by Steinmeyer and Gaughan inside the front wrapper. A prospectus for Gaughan's reimagining of Robert-Houdin's incredible effect, describing the history of the original and Gaughan's improvements to his own model.
