German Carved Wooden Whistler Automaton. Mechanical carved figure, possibly by Griesbaum, depicting a vagrant with alcohol bottle in pocket, leaning against a lamppost, turns his head side to side and whistles. Height 18?. Working condition, lacking rear cover; lamp not tested. Slight chipping to shoe and base. Also includes a Japanese (Waco) whistler, battery operated, not working.
