Giant Rose Mirror. German, ca. 1980. Enormous model of the classic Hofzinser effect in which the image of a rose appears on a large mirror. It then slowly and visibly fades from red to white, finally vanishing. A real white rose then appears in a glass on the magicians table. Clockwork mechanism in good working condition. Height of mirror 23 ??. With key, instructions, and original padded, fabric-covered carrying case, as issued.
