Illustrated with 40 color plates tipped onto brown paper. xiii, 1-[281], [3, blank] pp. Publisher?s deluxe binding of full vellum, front board and spine stamped in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut, with blue silk ties (one tie is loose, boards rubbed and lightly soiled, endleaves foxed, later pastedowns, rear hinge starting). Very good. Housed in quarter brown morocco pull-off case with black gilt morocco lettering labels. FIRST EDITION DELUXE, ONE OF 500 COPIES PRINTED.
