Gorman Rye ?It?s Guggenheim Quality? Sign. Circa 1890s-1900s. Pre-Prohibition painted plaster sign of Justice with her scale and sword in an oval frame. 30 x 24?. Later hanging hardware on the verso. Some wear, occasional chipping. The Guggenheim brothers (Herman and Julius) had a liquor business in Cleveland, OH in the late nineteenth/early twentieth century, which ended in 1909.
