GORSLINE, Douglas (American, 1913-1985). ?Brooklyn Local?. 1945. Etching on paper. Signed by the artist on the lower right corner. 1 ? x 7?. Etching is affixed to cardstock by 2 pieces of tape at the upper margin and is matted (upper portion of matted is loose; matte size: 13 ? x 11 ??). Minor toning, occasional light thumbsoiling. An excellent example. His style was a unique blend of realism and cubism, using cubist composition techniques on real subjects.
