Original publisher's gilt?lettered green cloth stamped with central gilt medallions on both covers, gilt?lettered spines stamped with 4-star shoulder straps gilt, floral printed endpapers (few spots of marginal foxing, else fine). FIRST EDITION of Grant?s classic memoirs published by Mark Twain. A FINE SET, without the usual faults commonly seen with this title.
