A contemplative woman looks upward at the sky on a cloudy night. She holds a quill pen and sheaves of paper, ready to set down her thoughts with the fine ink advertised on the poster. 46 ? x 31 ?? (sight). Restoration including over-painting along folds; repaired marginal tears. Framed and glazed with Plexiglas. Unexamined out of frame. MoMA 595.1954.
