[Wright Brothers] Grease Cup Used in Wright Flyer III Restoration. (Hammondsport: Curtiss Aeroplane Co.), ca. 1905. Metal grease cup with spring hinge lid; 1 ? x 1 ??. Originally produced for Curtiss?s JN-4 ?Jenny? and later used in the De Havilland DH-4. Cup obtained by Louis P. Christman for his 1947 restoration of the Wright Flyer III, on which he worked closely with Orville Wright. Fine.
