Over 400 chromolithograph greetings pasted in a 124-page contemporary oblong gilt-stamped buckram album. Includes approximately 439 greetings by British and American card manufacturers, with many series and sets, by Marcus Ward & Co., L. Prang & Co., Goodall [Charles Goodall & Sons], H. [Herman] Rothe, R. Canton, Raphael Tuck & Sons, Eyre & Spottiswood, Bollen & Tidswell, and A. Ackermann. Variety of themes and artwork including designs by Kate Greenaway, anthropomorphic, fishing, seashell, owls and birds, equestrian, costume, dogs, animals, clown, and others. Album worn; a few leaves trimmed at mid-page.
