Group of 4 Antique Baseball Items. Including: 1. Spalding ?Eureka? baseball. Chicago: Spalding, ca. 1880s-1900s. ?Eureka? baseball. Approximately 2 ?? in diameter. With faint ?Spalding Trademark? and ?Eureka? stamps. Wear and soiling due to use. A very good example of a rare turn-of-the-century baseball, now housed in a clear plastic box 2. Early baseball bat with rounded ?mushroom? style knob. Circa 1860s. Approximately 30 ?? long, knob diameter approximately 1 ??. Some wear, soiling, good. 3-4. Two early baseball guides: Constitution and By-Laws of the Capital Base Ball Club of Jefferson City, MO (ca. 1880s); Hand-Book of Base Ball Published by Philip Wilson & Co?. (ca. 1886). Both in original wrappers (some wear, creasing). A wonderful group.
