Group of Vernacular Photographs of Television Screens, 27 Items. 1960s–1990s. Group of 27 snapshot photographs depicting images captured directly from television screens, dating from approximately the 1960s through the 1990s. The images record a range of broadcast material as seen on domestic television sets, including news events, sports, entertainment programming, and popular culture. Subjects include a lunar broadcast scene, protest gathering, football game, and televised performance, along with more abstract or indistinct compositions produced by photographing CRT screens, showing scan lines, glare, and image distortion. The group reflects amateur documentation of televised imagery and the visual characteristics of analog screen technology across several decades. Various sizes, the largest approximately 3 1/2 x 5". 

Condition varies with general handling wear, minor surface marks, and light discoloration.
