[GUNNESS, Belle (1859 - 1908?)]. Eight newspapers reporting on the Gunness murder case. 1908 - 10. Newspapers with front page headlines regarding serial killer Belle Gunness, many published in the aftermath of the discovery of her "murder farm" after her house burned in April 1908 and multiple bodies were discovered on the property. Includes:

Daily Pioneer Press (St. Paul), 8 May 1908. Top left headline: "Murder Lures Come to Light." 12 pages.

Detroit News, 13 January 1910. Top left headline: "Gunness Mystery is Finally Solved." Front page only; and three other issues of the Detroit News reporting on the case.

Union and Advertiser (Rochester, NY), 6 May 1908. "Clues to Three More Murders at La Porte." 

Sunday Record-Herald (Chicago), 10 May 1908. "Belle Gunness Wholesale Murderer?" First page only from a special 8-page section.
