Hagenbeck Circus Draft Horse Neck Piece, a/k/a “Hames Housing”. American, ca. 1920s. Cowhide neck-piece in red and yellow, brass Hagenbeck logo affixed to center, brass studs around edges. 40 x 16”. Splits and cracks to leather, but good vintage condition overall. Obtained from the Hagenbeck—Wallace winter quarters in Peru, Ind.
