Hand-colored aquatint engraving depicts Lord Horatio Nelson's interment ceremony in St. Paul's Cathedral on January 9th, 1806. Engraving by J. Clark & J. Hamble. This highly detailed original was drawn by William Orme, based on a sketch by Rev. Holt Waring, who was present. Sight approximately 19 ? x 13 ??. Matted and framed under glass. Frame size approximately 24 ? x 18 ??. Toned, some visible creasing (two visible horizontal creases with some marginal tears). Very good. Not examined out of frame.
