Paris: Ch. Levy, ca. 1890. Central bust portrait of the French magician who performed at the famous Parisian magic theater located on the Boulevard des Italiens. After Robert-Houdin’s retirement and death, the theater continued offering magic shows for decades. Among the performers appearing there was Georges Méliès. 23 5/8 x 31 ¾".
