Brock, Charles Edmund (British, 1870 _ 1938). He Held out his Arms to Take his Darling Boy. Circa 1920. Watercolor on board. Image depicts Andromache and Hector in a scene from the Duel between Hector and Ajax. Painted for publication in the Childrenês Hour series published by Waverley Book Company in the early 1930s. Image measures 12 x 7 _ inches on a larger board. Image is signed at bottom left. Board chipped at bottom left corner, not affecting illustration. Very good.
