London: Benjamin West, May 1, 1811. Large engraving depicting the death of Nelson surrounded by officers and sailors aboard his ship. After the famous painting by Benjamin West (1738-1820). Sight approximately 20 ? x 27?. Matted and framed under glass. Frame size approximately 29 x 35 ??. Plate is toned, foxed, with some occasional soiling. Near fine. The large and magnificent print is highly detailed.
