With the original onionskin mailing Air Mail envelope on Hemingway?s matching stationery, addressed by him to Davis? residence in Malaga, Spain, with ink cancels and with a pencil note in an unknown hand. Each page of the letter with 2 horizontal creases. Letters heavily dampstained and most of the text is smeared and is difficult to read or is illegible. Signature is fairly legible. Some dampstaining to envelope. Fair. Davis was a close friend of Hemingway?s and Ernest even wrote Dangerous Summer during his stay at Davis? estate in Malaga (?La Consula?) in 1959.
