Some toning, wear, soiling, occasional glue residue, scuffing, ink markings on versos. Generally very good. Included are: 5 behind-the-scene photos of the making of the film; 2 (later?) photos of scenes from the film, a still of Tracy with Hemingway (taken after the film was made), an unrelated photo of George C. Scott taken while Scott was directing Hemingway’s Islands in the Stream; 13 Warner Brothers stills from the film, all numbered “58/300”. In addition, this lot has a press photograph (1965) of Anselmo Hernandez, the man who claimed to be the basis of the title character of “The Old Man and the Sea,” upon Hernandez’ arrival in Florida along with other Cuban Refugees (he was 92 years old at the time).
