Binding a bit soiled and soiled at edges, spine and corners rubbed, endleaves toned, lightly soiled, some indentations to ffep. and several following leaves, text lightly toned with occasional soiling and creasing, mildly skewed. Previous owner's signature on fp. Jacket mildly rubbed, creased with occasional toning. A very good copy in a near fine jacket. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, IN A JACKET WITH COLOR UNUSUALLY VIBRANT. Housed in a custom cloth clamshell case with black gilt morocco lettering label and with relief design of the old man landing the fish on the front.
