Signed lower right and signed and titled verso. Light surface dirt. Edges worn and corners dog eared.; Double sided work. Portrait of a woman knitting verso. Watercolor on paper. Unframed. Signed verso. Light surface dirt. One inch tear left edge. Edges worn and corners dog eared. Good condition. As a note of accomplishment Edna Hirt exhibited in the annual Exhibition by Artists of Chicago and Vicinity, The Art Institute of Chicago, 1948 with other such luminaries as Gertrude Abercrombie, Ivan Albright and Miyoko Ito.
