Dawes bookplate. Binding quite worn with hinges cracked and corners bumped. Fair condition. DAVID DEVANT'S COPY, with a penciled notation to flyleaf verso: ?This was David Devant's copy & carried his bookplate ?. It was subsequently in the Magic Circle Library & purchased from them in 1964 as withdrawn from circulation." A Devant bookplate has been laid in, and the Magic Circle's library stamp appears on the title page.
