Dark green publisher?s cloth elaborately and pictorially stamped in black and gilt, rear board stamped blind. Engraved frontispiece behind tissue (foxed), profusion of illustrations throughout. Thick 8vo. Dawes bookplate. Front hinge cracked, minor spots and soiling, else square, clean, and tight with sharp corners. A handsome example of this classic Victorian book.
