Bright green publisher's cloth elaborately and pictorially stamped in red, black, and gilt. Engraved frontispiece. Profusely illustrated throughout. Thick 8vo. Front hinge cracked, with minor spots and soiling; otherwise, square, clean, and tight, with sharp corners. A handsome example of this classic Victorian book. Dawes bookplate.
