Engraved frontispiece of The Sphinx illusion, profusion of illustrations. Thick 8vo. Dawes bookplate. Hinges contemporarily paper taped and binding loose, cloth generally rubbed and worn, lacks tissue guard, minor soiling, ownership signature and label to one endpaper. Good. Toole Stott 386.
