All letters addressed to Miss Barbara Joan Hrody and signed by Hoover, all concerning her employment as a stenographer in the Chicago F. B. I. office during the 1950s. Three letters are 7 x 8?, two are 10 ? x 8?. In addition, there is one typed letter signed on F. B. I. stationery to Barbara J. Hrody from the Special Agent in Charge, D. S. Hostetter (10 ? x 8?). All letters are stapled together in the upper left hand corner. One Hoover letter (10 ? x 8?) is torn at the left margin and has vertical creases. All letters with horizontal creases, hole punches on left margins. A good group.
