Dated January 15, 1903 and issued to Houdini at the Rembrandt-Theater, Amsterdam, and challenging him to escape from a ?buoy? made by a firm of men who construct railway equipment. 11 1/8 x 8 5/8?. Brittle, with edge chips and folds. Rare. An early Houdini challenge, issued just as the great escape artist?s star was beginning to rise following his initial successes in England and Europe.
