Dated Nov. 28, 1903, Houdini writes a lengthy missive to Arthur Buckle on varied subjects, including his eyesight: ?my eyesight, which has never been any too good, keeps me from writing after the daylight??; a magician named ?Earle,? whose ?feature trick is the wine and water, and makes it go very well?; and his current success, ?Am breaking records just the same as ever and if it keeps up, why the managers will actually I think I am doing well.? One sheet crudely laid down to a piece of stiff card, with small losses at old intersecting folds. Fair. Stamped signature, "H. Houdini," in purple.
