Sepia tone, 8 x 10", matted and framed larger. Sold together with a printed version of the photograph advertising an upcoming Houdini appearance. RARE.
This photograph was retouched at Houdini's request to demonstrate (and advertise) his immense drawing power as a headlining vaudeville attraction. Houdini was a star performer on the famous Orpheum circuit for years. Other items from his lengthy association with this famous theater chain are also offered in this auction.
