Dated January 6, 1921 and typed on Houdini's printed letterhead, he states, in part, ?Received your letter re your visit to Crewe ? The detailed data you have ?red-inked" was especially interesting. Do you think you could dope out some way to duplicate this stuff if you had the paraphernalia?" One 4to sheet with old folds; one chip at bottom. Boldly INITIALED ?HH" by Houdini in ink.Houdini and De Vega worked together to debunk the spirit photos of the Crewe Medium, William Hope. De Vega sat with Hope in 1921 ? when the letter was written ? and became suspicious of Hope's methods for developing apparent spirit photographs.
