Letterpress challenge made by the foreman and box maker of Otis Allen & Son for Houdini to escape from a trunk inside of which he is nailed and roped. 9 x 6”. Tear to upper left corner, loss to “C” in first line of text, soiling lower left corner. Edward Saint Collection ink stamp to verso.
