Houdini-Wresch Collection: German Bell Padlock. An early 20th century metal padlock (3 ? x 2 7/8?) marked ?DRGM,? with key, which makes a dinging sound when the key is turned. With a 2005 LOA from Joseph Tanner certifying that the padlock was from the Houdini-Wresch Collection, and copies of a bill of sale and letters from A. Nugent Jr. and Theo Hardeen documenting the item?s chain of ownership up to Tanner?s possession of the piece.
