Houdini's Russian Manacle. Australia: Stockade Locksmiths (Ian McColl), ca. 2010. Expert recreation of the famous double-locking restraint modeled known as the ?Russian Manacle" used to restrain Harry Houdini. 7 ? x 6 ? x 1 1/8". Exceptionally heavy construction. Original key. Working. One of a handful made by McColl, considered a master locksmith and one-time escape artist. The Russian Manacle housed what was reportedly one of the most complicated locks ever used in a handcuff.
