London: Hodder & Stoughton for Boots Pure Drug Company, n.d. [ca. 1932]. Small square 4to. 12 tipped-in color plates and illustrations in the text by Hudson. Original pictorial red cloth stamped and lettered in gilt (some uneven darkening to covers, few minor stains); original dust jacket with pictorial cover label (spine sunned, few closed tears near edges). Provenance: gift inscription dated 1934. ?Centenary Edition? of Hudson?s sought-after illustrated edition of Alice in the rare dust jacket. Lovett 263 (1922 edition).
