HUGARD, Jean (1871 - 1959). Houdini's "Unmasking" - Fact vs. Fiction (2 copies). Including:

New York: Jean Hugard,1957. Hugard's response to Houdini's Unmasking of Robert-Houdin seeks to clarify the facts. Published as an "integral part of Hugard's Magic Monthly", this volume appears to be the first edition in book form. In a hand-written epilogue, Jay Marshall wrote in the back of the volume "Published in HMM (Hugard's Magic Monthly) 1957. Pages sewn and the Protective covers add November 30, 1968. SIGNED by Jay Marshall, who likely bound the volume. 

And: Another example. York, PA: Magicana for Collectors, 1989. Hardbound, maroon cloth with gilt lettering on front board and spine. 8vo. Fine.
