Hughes Snake Basket. England: Jack Hughes, ca. 1970. A woven basket contains a ?live' snake that, after comedic by-play (rising from the basket with balls balanced on his head, launching items from inside, etc.), finds a chosen card in its mouth. Height 12". Very good. Lacks small spring snake (but includes ?baby rattler"), else good. Uncommon.
