[vii], 19-704 pp. Bound in publisher's full green cloth, boards ruled in blind with blind central motifs, spine stamped in gilt, yellow endleaves (spine sunned and soiled, some light wear, soiling to boards, hinges starting, endleaves soiled, several previous owner's signatures on front endleaves, text a bit toned with some occasional foxing). Very good. EARLY EDITION OF THIS RARE TITLE ABOUT BEECHEY'S PACIFIC VOYAGE AND BACK'S EXPEDITION TO THE ARCTIC SEA. This copy has the first edition engraved title-page, dated 1836, and the letterpress title-page with the later date of 1839.
