Humpty Dumpty with Silks. [Glendale, Loyd, ca. 1930s]. Includes five hand-painted silks and a hand-painted Humpty Dumpty figure. The magician passes a handkerchief through a paper tube and as it comes out the other end, a portrait of Humpty Dumpty appears on it. Other handkerchiefs are passed through the tube to transform into colorful silks, illustrating the nursery rhyme in full.? At the end of the story, the tube is unrolled, and inside is Humpty Dumpty himself, in doll form. Very good. Scarce.
