Provenance: from Morris Taft Thomas? personal collection with his notary blindstamp to verso and signed inscription: ?This is an original work by Mrs. Hunter, painted in my presence. Oct. 1972?. Sold by Thomas to M. Johnson?Hine in 2011 with additional paperwork of this sale. Thomas is a renowned artist, teacher, and author who has written several books on Hunter.
