Illustrated throughout. 12 issues bound together with uniform title-page and limitation, as issued. Bound in tan quarter cloth over marbled boards, retaining original paper wraps throughout, gilt-stamped title to spine, marbled endleaves. Text in French. LIMITED EDITION, #29/50 COPIES. 

With engraved plates after: A. Lepére, Dagnan-Bouveret, A. Robida, G. Jeanniot, Luc-Olivier Merson, P. Vidal, Louis Legrand, Ed. Rudeax, and others. With text by E. Rodrigues, M. Guillemot, R. Bouyer, Roger Milés, more.  

Condition

Spine rubbed and darkened, with slight loss to titles and spine ends, boards scratched and edgeworn; moderate toning, occasional light foxing throughout, a few gutters overopened or starting. Very good.
