Condition
8vos (earlier titles) are generally worn, soiled, with some hinges or gutters cracking, both Alice books have either gift inscriptions or an affixed gift card on front blanks. Generally good. FIRST ILLUSTRATED EDITIONS THUS. Titles include: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (New York: Harper & Brothers, 1901), illustrated throughout by Peter Newell; The Oregon Trail (Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1892), illustrated throughout by Frederic Remington; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (University of California Press, 1983, trade edition in price-clipped dust jacket, affixed gift card) illustrated throughout by Barry Moser.
