Inlaid Victorian Drawer Box. London: J. Bland [?], 1880s. Burled box with fancy inlaid bands at each end and filigree corner accents. The drawer is opened, showing the interior empty, then closed. When opened again the drawer is full to overflowing. Mahogany inner drawer, hold-back tab covered in plush. 4 x 4 x 8?. Minor wear to veneer. An outstanding and handsome Victorian prop.
