Inlaid Victorian Drawer Box. London: J. Bland [?], 1890s. Fine burled box with fancy inlaid bands at each end; the drawer is opened, showing the interior empty, then closed. When opened again, the drawer is full to overflowing. Mahogany inner drawer, hold-back tab underneath covered in plush. An outstanding Victorian prop.
